Atlanta, GA, April 29, 2008 – MDdatacor, Inc., a leader in healthcare quality management solutions for health plans and providers, today announced it has appointed John S. Watts Jr., former president and CEO of WellPoint Inc.'s Commercial and Consumer Business, as executive chairman of its Board of Directors.

Watts has more than 25 years of experience in building, growing and leading large health plan organizations. He spent 12 years at WellPoint, the nation's largest insurer with approximately 35 million members, where he held numerous executive positions, including chief executive and president of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and president and CEO of National Accounts. In his most recent position as president and CEO of WellPoint's Commercial and Consumer Business, Watts directed a $50 billion division that encompassed 14 Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.

Watts' election as executive chairman comes at a time of rapid growth for MDdatacor, which recently expanded both its employee base and corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. This growth is attributed to signing several large health plan clients and forging new strategic partnerships.
